We can't believe we're already moving onto October! It's amazing to see the friendships building and all of the meaningful connections the friends are having in the classroom. This past week, the preschoolers used a variety of describing words to explain the different attributes of a pumpkin and an apple. We used our five senses to touch, smell, look, listen and even taste the pumpkin. You can check out our charts on the wall outside the classroom. We also introduced our 'Job Chart' so each child has a job to complete in the classroom throughout the day.
Next week, we will be turning the classroom into a Doctor's office! We will be brainstorming about what a doctor does and learning all about the parts of a body and germs ('tis the season). We will also meet our letter 'D' puppet and even take an eye test! Below are some curriculum highlights.
